We are seeking a highly experienced, motivated and enthusiastic nurse to be part of a committed and well-established specialist pain service which is part of the
Supportive Care Team.
37.5 hours per week
As a registered nurse and degree holder, you will have proven experience of caring for patients with acute and chronic pain demonstrated by relevant qualifications with experience in developing/leading a service.
You will also be a non-medical prescriber (or working towards) to enhance autonomous clinical decision making and practice in the delivery of acute, chronic and cancer pain.
The Christie are looking to implement an intrathecal pump service in the near future.
You will actively lead on service development, education, research, audit and provide mentorship to relevant staff.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
